History:
The park openin in the early 1940's under the owership of Raymond Silva. His daughter took the park over in 1978 when he retired, and continued the tradition until 1983.
Sam Johnston, the current owner, bought the park in 1984. He completely renovated the park in 1990- 1991 and renamed it Funderland.
Two of the rides have been operating for over 50 years- Oscar the Fish and the carousel, which was restored and refurbished in 1990.
Notes:
Two acre site fenced in for children's safety. A sound wall has been built around part of the park. Park also offers a concesion stand and a birthday party area. |
